The Sump Seas Adventures campaign rolls on! Last week we played a 3-player game for the Great Sump Spider Den.
The Territory type was Collapsed Dome and we had to play the Khimerix Hunt scenario from the House of Blades. The Khimerix was replaced with a Giant Sump Spider from the Book of the Sump but otherwise it behaved exactly how the Khimerix would have behaved in the original scenario.
We also placed 3 sump spiders each on the board out of line of sight of other gangers.

slicing a Sump Spider straight in half.

Cornelius Essex tries to run away and gets caught in the Great Sump Spider's web! Henry Morgan bravely confronts the beast after his friend is taken out of action.
While Captain Steve was able to kill a Sump SPider outright on the charge, the toxic attacks of a Spider charging him was too much for his delicate sensibilites and he goes out of action.
The Golitahs continue to advance.

In the end my gang led by Captain Steve bottled out. The Goliaths won the mission because they killed the Great Sump Spider and all the gangs got a good amount of money out of the deal.
The Goliaths get the territory which counts as a Collapsed Dome.
One thing I would change about the scenario is that the Khimerix is supposed to appear and disappear throughout the battle by passing an Initiative check. The Khimerix has a 3+ or 2+ I, I don't remember exactly what it is but the I of the Giant Sump Spider is 5+. I should have reversed the wording in the scenario so if the Giant Sump Spider fails its I check it disappears instead of passing it.
